The Iowa State Sheriffs’ and Deputies’ Association has supported Special Olympics Iowa annually since 2007, and became a Premier Statewide Partner in 2024. Members of the Iowa State Sheriffs’ and Deputies’ Association support Special Olympics Iowa through numerous Law Enforcement Torch Run initiatives year-round, including fundraising events, participating in the Torch Run Final Leg, and handing out medals at competitions.
