Oct. 6 is Special Olympics Iowa State Volleyball Tournament in Ames

Who: More than 345 athletes making up 41 teams, 77 coaches, 100 volunteers from across the state of Iowa.

What: Special Olympics Iowa will host the State Volleyball Tournament. Kaylee Spencer an ISU student and president of the ISU Kinesiology & Health Club is responsible for organizing the leadership for this tournament. The tournament is open to the public, with spectators welcome to attend.

When: Saturday, October 6, Opening Ceremonies at 9:00 a.m., final matches scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.

Where: Forker Building at ISU in Ames, Iowa
